Casting Speeds


I created this to help remember cast speeds and to portray the impact of casting and recovery speeds.

Casting speeds below include the effects of buffed Recovery Speed.

Equation to calculate the buffed Casting, Recovery, and Reuse Speed:
BaseSpeed ÷ (1 + PercentBuff)

Example. Calculating 32% Recovery Speed:
.5 ÷ (1 + .32) = 0.378787

32% self buffed recovery speed reduces the .5 seconds default Recovery Speed to .38 seconds

What are the caps for casting speed and spell-reuse? These are both capped at a 100% [blue stat percent buff]. Each can, at max, only effectively halve the relevant stat. A spell that has a 10s cast and a 10min reuse would cap at a 5s cast and 5min reuse. [This is true for recovery speed as well.]

" Focus: Breeze V " is a Coercer set bonus given from the TSO Twisted Thoughts armor set or ROK Spectral Coercion armor set or SF Class Red Adornment (head, legs, chest, feet, or gloves).

Unholy Hunger is a consistent, one concentration cost, group buff from a Shadowknight. This group buff is improved with Unholy Voracity provided from the AA TSO Shadowknight line.

Divine Recovery is the Cleric's intelligence endline ability.

AA Modifiers added to the table below:
Allegro (rank 10). 8% Ability Casting Speed of group members.
Swift Voices (rank 8). Adds to Allegro plus 32% Ability Recovery Speed of group members.
Dirge Tab: Enhance: Shroud (rank 5). Improves the casting speed of shroud by 1 seconds.
Dirge Tab: Enhance: Elegy of Awakening (rank 5). Improves the casting speed of Elegy of Awakening by 3 seconds, which is roughly ~60%.
Degredate (rank 1). Improves the casting speed of persistent power cost spells by 50%.
Degredate does not affect Gravitas.
Dirge Tab: Wicked Wailing (rank 5). Improves the casting speed of Luda's Nefarious Wail by .5 seconds.
Shadows Tab: Disease Mastery (rank 1). Improves the casting speed by 25% of all hostile spells except for Lanets Excruciating Scream.
Disease Mastery also impacts the casting speed of Verlien's Keen of Despair and Tarven's Crippling Crescendo.
Disease Mastery does not affect the AE debuffs and other spells not mentioned above.

In the table below, "affected cast speed" refers to the cast speed after it is affected by AAs.

 Numbers in bold in the table below indicate the ability has reached only the casting speed cap and not the recovery speed cap.
